On October 31st the traditional walk called „Urban Trekking“ will take you to visit some interesting points of Valdobbiadene
This year the main theme of the itinerary is the ancient production of silk and cotton yarns in the old spinning mills of our town.
With a simple walk of about 6 km, a local guide will introduce you to the ancient production sites. Participants can discover and experience how work was organized in the spinning mills of the 19th and 20th centuries (today the buildings are restored and reconverted to other uses) and how important this production was at the time for our city.... not only Valdobbiadene Docg and Cartizze wines!
The meeting point is in on Tuesday 31 October in the main Piazza Marconi in Valdobbiadene at 02.30pm.
